The school is an offshore American and Canadian high  school. I was in charge of the honors grade 12 class and the regular B class teaching the following courses: Intensive World Literature, English Language Arts and University Preparation. Our program was comprised of about 300 students from grade 10 to grade 12. I founded a successful french language club with a membership of 50 students. It was great to be back in the high school environment after several years. It was also great to learn more about the various placement and language tests chinese students will undergo as they prepare to study in high ranking universities abroad. I was extremely well liked and received a good performance review in the school. The work environment would be ideal if not for the location of the school in Beijing. The high level of pollution and changes in my personal life are causing me to want to return to Shenzhen to seek a similar position in one of the schools of that area.

I was hired in a difficult transitional period for the school  and put  in charge of preparing the school summer camp and leading a staff of 30 foreign and local teachers into delivering contents and lessons. We created several evaluation tools and overall enhanced the appearance and organization of the school on a deep level. My list of tasks was enormous and touched on every aspect of customer service and relations. Our clientele grew from 400 students to 700 students over the course of the year. I accepted a position in a high school in Beijing after the camp concluded.

I’ve had a hand in just about every decision, from design blueprints,
architecture, legal matters, government matters, financial structure,
elaboration of the budget, relationship/partnership with the mother

Participated in the hiring & training of all staff and creation of the entire
school from the first idea until first 80 students, in collaboration with two
Chinese partners.

I was an Investor in the school. 
I was quite at ease in the media and I was collaborating with the local TV
station who were running a weekly feature on my life in China and the school
that I created (and is still growing now).

November 2014-Current
I taught a set of Chinese twins, a boy and a girl, from age 3 to age 5. We
had daily lessons for 2 hours each day on weekdays and 4 hours each on
weekend. During this time, they learned fluent English within 1 year, and
very good French within the next year. It was quite an extraordinary
experience.

I was tasked with teaching a Bilingual program for age 2-3
Chinese students with a British Curriculum. I was involved in creating curriculum,
