Spanish and English teacher
- First Spanish teacher hired by the college as they have the prospect of opening a
Spanish Department in the near future.
- Taught Spanish as a second language to English majors. Started from scrath but
achieving a solid A1 level is expected once the year has finished.
- The basic textbook used for the course has been "El curso en vivo A1" (Shanghai
Foreign Language Education Press) as it was suggested by the Faculty Foreign
Languages complemented with interactive material for the practical sessions.
- 5 teaching periods per week and group. 4 periods focussed on vocabulary and
grammar acquisition and one focussed on oral practice.
- Taught Oral English in the Affiliated Middle School (鞍山師范附屬中學) to Grade 7
students.
Spanish Teacher
- Teaching Spanish to Spanish Language and Literature major students.
- Courses included "Reading" (pre-intermediate & upper-intermediate levels) &
"Grammar" (based on the "Espa?ol Moderno" Chinese text for 1st year students).
- Taught a 3-month intensive course to non-Spanish majors (student age ranging
between 18-27) planning to move overseas to study their major/masters in Spanish
universitites. Moved from an initial level to A2+ / B1-.
- Supervised 5 Bachelor student's dissertations.
- Organised a Spanish Corner so that first and second year students could practice the
