Organising two educational conferences and a day visit to Poland from the UK 4 times a year.

Using imitative throughout the seminars and day in Poland is highly important.

Ensuring schools all over the UK are aware of the Lessons From Auschwitz project ran by the HET with direct marketing 

Creating new brochures for the Autumn/ Spring round of visits.

Worked as part of the teaching team. 

Carried out individual tasks such as creating class plans.

Assisted a group of fourteen year olds in a history lesson, developed their confidence by reading through work and giving positive feedback. 

Interaction also took place with parents and other members of staff on a regular basis on a variety of topics and issues.

Work experience in a primary school 

Worked with children aged 3 to 6, three afternoons a week for 1 year.

Worked with children on an individual basis, in groups and as a whole class of 30. 

Planned lessons.

One on one session with the youngest children, who were having difficulty reading, writing or speaking. 

Used a range of activities involving pictures/ word cards/ songs and stories to interact with the children. This strengthened my confidence in the classroom hugely.  

Songs such as 'head shoulders knees and toes' would be a brilliant way to interact with the children in a fun way and also allow them to learn. 

I am extremely outgoing and smiley- simply smiling a lot can put children at ease when you are, at first a stranger to them. 

I always had a lot of energy as I am very outgoing and confident; this helped ensure all students were focused.

Helped in PE classes and devised fun games for the children to help them learn to play together and make friends. 

Patience developed when working with a large group of children.

Senior Cashier and Shift Supervisor 

Cashing up eight tills at the end of a shift, and handling up to £15,000 of takings. 

Responsible for reporting revenue figures, weekly forecasts and other documentation at the end of shifts and forwarding to   Head Office, assisting the supervisor in morning delivers and stock checks for the office, till areas and the store itself. 

Carried out all administrative needs of the manager and deputy manager.

Filing ‘End of the Day Reports’ and faxing/ emailing them to Head Office

Excellent communication skills with customers, dealing with any customer complaints. Meet and greet all regional managers on visits or interviewees, ensuring they were made comfortable.
