WORK EXPERIENCE 

· Foreign English Teacher (01/11/2013 To Present) 

Shenyang Agricultural University, Shenyang, China.

Responsibilities: Teaching English to Postgraduate University Students (all levels). I am responsible for assisting to improve all areas of English (particularly spoken English). A substantial amount of lesson planning is an important part of this role. I conduct final exams at the end of each semester.

· Online English Tutor (08/10/2012 To 01/11/2013)

Responsibilities: Teaching English to children and adults via Skype (‘intermediate’ to ‘advanced’ levels). I was responsible for assisting to improve all areas of English (particularly spoken English). I also taught some Business English (using a textbook and other materials) in this role. A substantial amount of lesson planning is an important part of this role. 

· Foreign English Teacher (01/10/2011 To 30/06/2012) 

Conyevans Global Communication Centre, Incheon, South Korea.

Responsibilities: Teaching English to adults (‘intermediate’ to ‘advanced’ levels). I was responsible for assisting to improve all areas of English (particularly spoken English). A substantial amount of lesson planning is an important part of this role. 

· Foreign English Teacher (08/04/2010 To 08/04/2011)

Responsibilities: Teaching English to children. I was responsible for assisting to improve all areas of English (particularly spoken English). A substantial amount of lesson planning was an important part of this role. Other duties included setting regular tests and periodically writing student reports.

· Graduate Risk Analyst (05/10/2009 To 20/11/2009)

Corona Energy, Watford, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities: Assisting with Operational Risk Management. My role largely involved producing work to assist in mitigating the financial risks to the company (e.g. KPI’s / ORM screen savers). I was therefore involved with regular discussions with colleagues at all levels of seniority within the business.

· Foreign English Teacher (15/03/2009 To 28/08/2009)

Maple International Language Institute, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China.

Responsibilities: Teaching English to children and adults. I was responsible for assisting to improve all areas of English (particularly spoken English). A substantial amount of lesson planning was an important part of this role. Other duties included setting regular tests and periodically writing student reports.

· Trainee Tax Consultant (29/08/2008 To 06/02/2009).

Buzzacott Livingstone Ltd, London.

Responsibilities: Assisting with the preparation of UK and US tax returns. My role largely involved using tax software to produce tax returns for company clients (and liaising with more senior colleagues to finalise these in line with tax deadlines throughout the year). Additionally, I was also involved with attending occasional client meetings with company directors.

· Trainee Business Adviser (17/09/2007 To 23/11/2007).

PKF (UK) LLP, Guildford, Surrey.

Responsibilities: Assisting with company audits/administrative tasks. This role largely involved visiting company clients (with a more senior colleague) in order to conduct audits. I was largely responsible for ensuring that the core/basic auditing tasks had been completed.
