Design primers (Conventional, Gene knock-out and qPCR), Alignments, Phylogenetic tree, Protein Motifs analysis, Gene structure (Intron-exon distribution) and Protein 3D structure modelling etc... 2. Laboratory skills ? Gene-knockdown ? Isolation, characterization and identification of soil & plant associated rhizobacteria and pathogenic bacteria and fungi. ? Biological control of plant disease and growth promotion by rhizobacteria/ PGPR. ? Extraction of DNA/ RNA and Proteins (including cytoplasmic, inner and outer-membrane proteins) from all plant tissues and microbes. ? Can efficiently run all sort of PCRs including RT-PCR, conventional, gradient and touch-down PCR. ? Electrophoresis such as SDS-PAGE, Agarose and 2D Gel Electrophoresis (for proteins). ? In-vitro plant regeneration via plant tissue and organ culture. ? Biofilm Assays for PGPR and pathogenic bacteria ? Effect of different growth-regulators on plant growth and antioxidant scavenging activities of plant tissues. ?
