·         Learning Centre sessions for students seeking additional tutoring.

·         20 hours ESL class lecture hours per week.  Students aged 18 to 21, on average 40 students per class.

·         Planning and preparation of class lectures including compiling and / or editing of Video and Audio material for class purposes with accompanying hard-copy handouts. 

·         Lectures focused on Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.  Student participation was actively monitored.

·         Commissioned to write a purpose-tailored student book for use in class by all the teachers in the programme.

·         Monitoring students’ class attendance, participation, writing, task-completion and general attention in class.

·         Setting final exams for Applied Listening, Standard Listening and Advanced Listening Courses.

·         20 hours per week of Business Courses including Accounting, Marketing, International Negotiation, Business Ethics and Public Speaking.

·         Preparation of all PowerPoint Lecture Material and sourcing and editing of accompanying video material.

Nov. 2008 – Jun. 2009:  Suzhou Institute of Trade & Commerce, China - (Business and ESL Classes)

·         Teaching Business and ESL students. 

·         Normal administrative tasks pertaining to planning of, and reporting on teaching schedules and setting exams. 

·         Classes included Language Laboratory teaching with emphasis on listening, comprehension and interpretation skills.
