English Instructor - European Languages Department, College of Arts & Humanities King Abdulaziz University - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (03/2010 – 09/2016) Taught 300 and 400-level English courses to university students who have passed the ELI/ELC courses (English prep-year program) and are seeking a four-year degree in English. Duties included curriculum design, development of materials, exam preparation and lesson planning, assessment, evaluation, and counseling of students. Additional responsibilities included servicing as Writing Coordinator for the department. Developed a two-year English Diploma Program for the College of Continuing Education.
English Teacher; Wall Street Institute of English - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (12/2008 – 12/2009) Taught ESL-based English to high school students and young adults. General duties included instruction, assessment, and evaluation of students. Served as English Social Club coordinator.
Instructed students at a TOEFL (IBT) preparation center. Taught test strategies and how to improve overall writing and reading skills when taking the TOEFL exam.
