E X P E R I E N C E Senior ESL Teacher | Web International Englis h February 2014 - Present I am responsible for teaching classes to students aged 10-60 years old, of different backgrounds and abilities. Class sizes vary from one-on-one VIP classes, small grammar based classes, midsized conversational classes and large topical classes. As well as delivering high-quality lessons, I also take pride in preparing and developing lesson plans, and maintaining a professional but supportive relationship with students and coworkers alike. I also have experience preparing students for IELTs examinations and university interviews as well as helping more mature students with job interviews and career development. Additionally, I have assisted in training and assessment of new teachers.

I am a native English speaker from The UK with 5 years experience teaching English as a Second Language to Chinese students in Jiangsu and Shanghai. My aim as a teacher is to make my classes as interesting as possible, whilst making sure that key content is accessible and easy to understand for all. Learning a second language is often a challenge, but it can also be great fun and an opportunity to learn more about the world and different cultures. I hope to share my passion for English with my students. |
