June 2009 – on going (Private Tutoring - Liverpool, Manchester, Online/Skype)
Teaching English to one or two students from Europe. I meet with them depending on their
circumstances; either in their homes or libraries in Manchester or Liverpool for two hour sessions.
This has helped me to gain further experience and my long term goals of wanting to teach in China. I
have also worked part time in Japan teaching British and European history as well as English. I have
been teaching and assisting students online via Skype and have been providing verbal and written language support.

Jan 2011 - on going/part time (Domestic Locksmith - Freelance/Consultancy)
I created a small freelance business after developing the necessary skills in financial management. On call 24/7, install, repair and adjust locks from homes to office buildings and cars. I network with local businesses and build relationships with clients. This allowed me to develop a moral compass and qualities of the industry like honesty, trustworthiness, reliability and dependability. Other skills I have acquired are good vision for the industry, synchronisation and knowledge of different types of locks security systems.
Oct 2010 - Dec 2010 (Sony - London, Bolton and Runcorn)
Sony Brand Ambassador
Attended meetings in retail stores with managers and their employees to educate staff on Sony products. This increased sales with stores. I also promoted new products on campus through consumer engagement strategies for employees and had to understand market segmentation such as families, retirees, young couples and single men. As one of the leading Sony Brand Ambassadors I attended conferences at sports stadiums including the Reebok Stadium in Bolton to promote products of Sony to sport professionals.

Completed the first year of study at the University of Manchester until transferring to Liverpool John Moores University
Completed Historical Studies of China, from the Origins of Chinese Civilisation,
from the Neolithic period to the People’s Republic of China. Japanese Language Studies helped me to develop a cultural, historical and linguistic point of view on how Japan sees itself in the world.
