July , Aug. 2013 Teaching Oral English to 8 to 12 year old kids in Gui Lin Yangshuo at Zhuo Yue English Collage Dec.,Jan.,Feb. 2012/13 Working out of Harbin, for a program were I taught kids Downhill Skiing during the day and English ski terminology at night. 桂林英語口語教師 Sept./09 - April/10 Contracted by the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Committee for the Vancouver/Whistler Games as a level 2 computer technician with Acer Computers the Computer Co. for the Games. I was charged with deployment, support and decommission of all Acer Systems required. Winters 1984 - 2002 2005 - 2008 My duties as a Ski Instructor / Ski Coach were to insure guest of the largest ski resort in North America had a safe enjoyable visit to Whistler. I taught groups from 1 to 10 people how to have a safe and enjoyable time while skiing with an increasing level of skill and control. 1995 - 2005 I was owner operator of the Blenz Coffee Shop franchise in Whistler Village Canada. It was a totally hands on operation I handled books, staffing and staff training, schedules, front counter shifts etc.. With ongoing customer service training, consistent products, schedule, a pleasant environment I was able every year to obtain a double digit sales increase. In 2005 I received a very generous offer to purchase, sold and look for new opportunities. 1988 - 1995 I was employed as the Head of the buying dept. for a multi-location, multi-million dollar clothing operation in Whistler B.C.. As head buyer I was directly in charge of inventory purchasing budget, product margin, forecasting overall needs. I traveled to Show’s and sourced local markets for new product an ideas. Very much hands on in inventory control, supplier and store merchandising.
