Successfully completed in 1972. 1972 – 1975: Employed by Eyre and Spottiswood, book publishers as a compositor. 1975 – 1988: Employed by Southern Newspapers in Southampton, England as a Graphic Artist and Keyboard Operator. 1988 – 1995: Owned my own typesetting and design training company. The company was principally set up to train and teach other graphic artists the new technology that was emerging in the late 80s. So in conjunction with our general commercial duties we taught and trained individuals new developments in software used within the printing and publishing industry. 1995 – 2007: Employed by Newsquest International. I had a variety of roles within this company. Mainly as a graphic artist and latterly as a Copy Coordinator, responsible for several weekly and monthly magazines.
