工作經(jīng)歷
I have served as a high school teacher in the State of Texas as well as Department Chair for my campus’ Career and Technology Department. As such, I was called upon to meet the daily needs of our youth by engaging them through meaningful curriculum while still providing leadership for my team. I also helped co-found an after school enrichment program for young woman. The premise of DIVAs was to provide exposure to social settings that may be encountered as growing young adults as well as provide knowledge and access to information needed to transition from high school to college. My experience as a teacher also came with the ability to build interpersonal relationships with both my peers and subordinates. I consistently demonstrated my ability to gain the respect and confidence of broad spectrum of individuals. 教育經(jīng)歷
First and foremost, I am a certified educator in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences which is a discipline that lends itself to developing career driven skills. In this field, personal development is a large focus and encompasses the idea of promoting self through understanding relationships and developing essential skills needed to be successful in the home, workplace and social environments. Courses in this area help students to understand the importance of effective resume writing, professional communication, and technological awareness.
